What parents say after the party

“We had a great birthday party at Nextgen VR for a group of kids between 10 and 12. They did an adventure game (Tikal) and a combat game (Showdown) and both were a huge hit. For Tikal the immersive experience with wind, smells, and heat really sets this place apart.”

Questions parents ask

How much does a VR birthday party cost?

Parties start at $294 before tax for 6 guests ($49 per guest, Classic). Epic is $69 per guest with two missions and nearly double the playtime. 13% HST is added at checkout, and you see the exact total before you pay. Every party includes the private arena, a party host, 40 minutes in the lounge, digital invites and a bubble tea for every guest.

What’s included, and what isn’t?

Included: the arena for your group only, a host who runs set-up, rotation and clean-up, 40 lounge minutes with table set-up and fridge space, auto-generated digital invites, a bubble tea per guest, a gift for the birthday star, and the party’s highlight video. Not included: cake and food (bring your own or order pizza to the door; Sugar & Ice next door serves snacks and drinks).

How do deposits and rescheduling work?

A deposit confirms your booking. Birthday, corporate and bachelor bookings, and any group over 10, need 7 days' notice to cancel or reschedule for a refund. Within 7 days the deposit is non-refundable, and one reschedule may be offered at our discretion. The balance is due at check-in.

What ages can play?

Ages 8 and up can play as long as a parent or guardian stays on site. From 12 up, players can be dropped off. We host kids’ parties, teen parties and adult parties, and the host recommends missions to suit the group.

Is it scary for younger kids?

It doesn’t have to be. Temple of the Diamond Skull and High Voltage are adventure and puzzle missions with no horror. Zombie missions are there for teens and adults who ask for them. Tell us the age group when you book and the host will steer.

Can parents watch?

Yes. The lounge has a live feed of the arena, so you see what the kids see. For players under 12, at least one parent or guardian stays on site for the whole party.

How many can play at once?

Up to 10 players in the arena at a time. Book up to 20 guests online and we rotate teams so everyone gets equal time. For 20 or more, or a full-venue rental, send an inquiry.

Can we bring our own cake and food?

Yes. Bring cake, snacks and decorations; your lounge time includes table set-up and fridge space. Sugar & Ice, attached to the arena, serves food and drinks, or have pizza delivered.

How far ahead should we book?

We recommend booking at least two weeks ahead, and earlier during busy periods. Weekend slots fill fast, so book as soon as you know your preferred date and time.

Can we book a birthday on Monday?

Monday: Available for private events — inquiry only. Send a private-event inquiry so we can confirm your date and party arrangements.
